UTMB Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Clinician III to join our Internal Medicine team. Responsibilities:
- Provide competent and compassionate patient care, adhering to the Texas Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Standards of Professional Practice.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience in Internal Medicine.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
