Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide support services to assist clients with personal, physical mobility, and therapeutic care needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide services to individuals who require assistance with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with health care tasks, personal hygiene services, and other related support services essential to the client's well-being.
  • Assist with transfers and ambulation, ensuring the client's safety and comfort.
  • Perform incidental household services that are an integral part of a personal care plan.
  • Provide companionship by engaging in activities such as reading, listening, and conversation.
  • Assist clients in developing independent skills through self-care activities, such as toileting, clothing routines, and personal hygiene.
  • Report changes in client status or as directed by the care plan.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or necessary.

**Requirements:**

  • State licensure or certification as required by state and/or program.
  • One (1) year of relevant experience preferred.
  • Current BLS Card.
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Knowledge of child growth and development.
  • Ability to coordinate and facilitate services between the home, school, local health agency, and other community resources.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
