Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is in search of a skilled Bread Specialist. We seek an individual who shares our enthusiasm for food quality, customer engagement, and community involvement. As a Bread Specialist, you will join a vibrant team dedicated to providing a distinctive selection of artisan, sweet, and seasonal breads, all crafted with wholesome, honest ingredients.

To thrive as a Bread Specialist at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe, you should possess:

• A proven history of showcasing exceptional skills in the kitchen, from adhering to recipes to meticulously attending to details that result in unique bread creations. The role requires the ability to lift substantial amounts of dough, flour, and other materials, often exceeding 50 lbs. Daily tasks will also include standing, lifting, and mixing.
• Flexibility to adapt to changes while maintaining focus on the baking process.
• Availability for mid-afternoon to evening baking shifts, typically starting around 11 AM and concluding around 7 PM, including a shift on Sunday when the establishment is closed. During peak holiday seasons, the baking schedule may extend to overnight shifts.

Qualifications for a successful Bread Specialist at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe include:

• 1+ years of experience in large-scale baking or pastry (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong adherence to local, state, and federal food handling and sanitation regulations.
• Formal education in baking or pastry arts is advantageous.
