Curriculum Director

New Story School is seeking a qualified Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment to provide leadership in the development and improvement of the entire curriculum, instruction, and assessment programming.

• Collaborate with organizational leadership to plan and implement effective programs of curriculum, instruction, supervision, and assessment.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest education technology and research tools to improve curriculum, instruction, and assessment systems and practices.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the instructional program and provide guidance on data-driven decision making.
• Provide leadership in planning and conducting data-driven curriculum studies and staff development activities.
• Work with teachers to prepare curriculum and materials and assist principals and teachers in the organization and presentation of instruction.
• Provide coaching and support to building principals in the improvement process and assist in the review of school improvement plans.
• Coordinate textbook and curriculum resource inventory and distribution and review curriculum alignment with the assessment program.

• At least 5 years of supervisor/leadership experience with a MEd in Curriculum and Instruction.
