Job Title: MRI Technologist PRN

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality MRI images of patients while ensuring their safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI scanners safely and competently, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Screen patients for contraindications and ensure their safety during MRI procedures.
  • Prepare examination rooms for MRI procedures, maintaining inventory of supplies and ensuring room cleanliness.
  • Review exams for technical accuracy, annotating and documenting results as needed.
  • Collaborate with PACS Administrator and MRI Supervisor to maintain accurate and up-to-date imaging records.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT-MRI Technologist certification or ARMRIT within six months of hire.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a certified MRI technologist.
