Laboratory Technician Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician Specialist to join our team in Wayne, NJ. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and excellent attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities- Specimen Processing and Testing: Handle and process specimens, perform complex laboratory tests, and analyze results.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain strict adherence to quality control procedures, document results, and identify and resolve issues.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and other relevant regulations.
- Data Management: Accurately record and maintain patient data, test results, and quality control records.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients and other laboratory personnel to answer questions and provide excellent customer service.
- Education: BS in Medical Technology preferred, or BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, or Associate's degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology. Foreign-educated candidates must provide a detailed credential evaluation.
- Experience: 1 year of clinical laboratory experience in high-complexity testing preferred.
- Certifications: National certification as an MT/MLT from a recognized organization (ASCP or AMT).
- Technical Skills: Strong computer skills and knowledge of laboratory information systems.
- Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Estimated Salary: $38 - $40/hour
