About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Manager to lead our Security Team in day-to-day operations and oversee security systems and client customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the 24-hour per day security department for a 1,000,000 square foot, Class A office building.
  • Directly supervise thirty-five security officers and 5 Security Supervisors.
  • Possess strong Leadership Skills.
  • Ability to manage staff; encourage and support leadership and growth in others.
  • Have a strong knowledge of Access Control and Security Video Systems (CCURE/Victor experience a Plus).
  • Supervise building control center operations, building access, data center access, communications, incident reporting and staff training.
  • Monitor staff operations and performance to ensure compliance with department, building and company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the selection and processing of new security staff.
  • Develop and/or maintain accurate records of attendance, scheduling, training, staff certifications, incident reporting, statistics and work orders/inspections.
  • In absence of the Director, act as emergency security coordinator for emergency response as outlined in NIMS System.
  • Be on call 24x7 for emergencies.
Requirements
  • 3 - 5 years' experience and demonstrated proficiency supervising large scale security operations.
  • A California Guard Card.
  • APP, CPP or PSP certifications (preferably).
  • Must have clear criminal history.
  • Successfully pass a drug test.
  • Commercial Real Estate experience (preferably).
