Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing routine Nuclear Medicine procedures and producing high-quality images while ensuring radiation safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify physician orders and screen patients for appropriateness of study
  • Provide patient education and select appropriate protocols
  • Demonstrate ability to problem-solve image quality and coordinate technical work and patient flow
  • Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and establish a good rapport with fellow employees and medical staff
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or ARRT (N) certification
  • Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Florida State License Nuclear Medicine
