Special Education Teacher

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 36.5 hours per week
- Caseload: 12-14 students, with specifics to be discussed during the interview
- Compensation: $35-40 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the provision of special education services for your assigned students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and service providers to develop and update IEPs.
- Provide customized instruction to address individual student needs.
- Work closely with staff, teachers, and families to enhance student inclusion and success.
- Track student progress and make necessary adjustments to their IEPs.
- Advocate for the students, ensuring they receive the appropriate support and accommodations.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Connecticut Special Education Teaching License.
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
