Job Summary:

The Sanitation Foreperson is responsible for leading a team of sanitation associates in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise sanitation associates in performing sanitation duties
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Pre-rinse, wash, and sanitize equipment according to company standards
  • Inspect equipment and ensure proper reinstallation after cleaning
  • Set up equipment for production runs
  • Collaborate with sanitation leadership and production to address cleaning deficiencies
  • Follow safety guidelines and company policies
  • Follow AIB guidelines, HACCP, and GMP
  • Train new team members and ensure task completion
  • Perform various sanitation tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of three years of sanitation experience
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience
  • Good communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
