Sterile Processing Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sterile Processing Supervisor to join our team at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. As a key member of our Sterile Processing department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Sterile Processing team, ensuring the efficient processing and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment.

• Oversee the daily operations of the Sterile Processing department, including decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and case-cart management.
• Ensure that all instruments and equipment are properly processed and sterilized to meet hospital standards.
• Supervise and train staff members to ensure they are following proper procedures and protocols.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of instrument processing and sterilization.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

• Associate's degree or additional two years of work experience in lieu of degree.
• Five years working in central sterile processing, manufacturing, logistics, or assembly in a healthcare environment, with at least one year in a role with progressive responsibility.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff members.
