About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MEP Inspector to join our team at HNTB. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and contract provisions.
  • Verify that procedures are followed and materials used conform to specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection work, including daily logs and reports.
  • Perform on-site material testing and produce as-constructed sketches as required.
  • Collaborate with field engineers and contractors to resolve discrepancies and ensure project progress.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 3 years of construction-related experience.
  • All required jurisdictional certificates and state requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience with elevator and escalator inspections, including safety compliance and operational assessment.
  • Experience with plumbing installation, including pumps, piping, ducts, equipment, controls, vaults, and associated works.
  • Knowledge and experience with inspection of fire sprinkler systems and ventilation systems (HVAC).
