Main Responsibilities

  • Housing Program Management: Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HCV program, ensuring compliance with applicable HUD regulations.">
  • Policy Development: Formulates and implements operating policies, procedures, objectives, and budgets to ensure operational compliance with relevant regulations and standards.">
  • Program Reporting: Prepares the HCV program Section 8 Management Assessment Program (SEMAP) Certification Report in conjunction with the Executive Director.">
  • Data Management: Maintains HUD's Public and Indian Housing Information System, ensuring data accuracy and implementing quality control systems.">
  • Communication and Supervision: Communicates effectively with participants, landlords, and the public, and supervises subordinates to ensure compliance with policies and achieve goals or objectives.">

Requirements

">

Bachelor of Science Degree required in Business Administration, Public Administration, Urban Affairs, City Planning, Accounting, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field. A minimum of five years of management experience in public housing, HCV program, tax credit housing, assisted apartment management, and/or local government housing work is required. Certification in HQS Inspection, Income, Rent, and HCV program administration within the first year of employment is also required.
