The Nursing Assistant will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care activities. This includes assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing personal care, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring patients.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including cleaning patient rooms and common areas.
  • Assist with patient transfers and mobility.
  • Document patient care activities in the Patient Care Record.
Requirements:
  • Ability to meet performance requirements.
  • Dependable transportation and child care.
Personal Qualifications:
  • Sensitive to patients' physical and psychosocial needs.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Capable of charting accurately in the Patient Care Record.
  • Pleasant and cheerful personality.
  • Tactful and courteous approach with patients and visitors.
  • Treat all patient information as confidential.
