Position Overview:
Explore the opportunity to join a leading healthcare institution. The role involves working in the Admission and Testing unit, focusing on cardiac pre-procedural care and phase II recovery.
Shift Details:
Working hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with an expectation of three call shifts within a six-week timeframe.
Role Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse will be accountable for the delegation, oversight, and delivery of nursing care to a specific group of patients, employing the nursing process effectively.
Age-appropriate care is a priority, and participation in research initiatives is encouraged, integrating findings into evidence-based clinical practices.
Additionally, the RN will engage in quality improvement efforts and uphold the mission, vision, and values of Memorial Health, alongside adhering to the ANA Code of Ethics and the Illinois Nursing Act.

Qualifications:
Licensure and Certification:
Must hold a valid RN license in the State of Illinois.
Current BLS/CPR certification is required per policy.
ACLS certification is expected within 3-6 months of hire.
Skills and Abilities:
Candidates must be capable of positioning and transferring an average adult patient and possess the coordination necessary for various patient care tasks. Prolonged standing and performing intricate skills such as IV insertion and IM injections are essential.
Work conditions may involve exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially hazardous materials.
