About the Role

LHC Group is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Cedar Grove, New Jersey. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain, and other medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' functional status and physical therapy needs, assisting the physician in developing the therapy plan of care.
  • Observe and report patients' responses to treatment and any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse and/or physician.
  • Treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and/or maintain maximum functioning using acceptable standards of practice.
  • Instruct and inform participating members of the healthcare team, the patient, and family/caregivers regarding the plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals.
Requirements
  • Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of New Jersey.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, with access to a dependable vehicle.
