About the RoleCedar Fair is seeking a skilled and creative Special Effects Makeup Artist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate effectively with supervisors and performers regarding makeup needs and concerns.
- Apply and remove special effects makeup and prosthetics for various characters.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to Cedar Fair's safety policies and procedures.
- Prior experience in special effects makeup or show makeup is essential.
- A portfolio showcasing a wide range of makeup designs is required (at least five different designs).
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods as needed.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Lift up to thirty pounds as part of the job requirements.
This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with high levels of creativity and attention to detail.
Benefits and CompensationThe estimated salary for this position is $13.00 per hour.
