The Educational Support Specialist will collaborate closely with the lead educator to carry out daily responsibilities, including meal preparation and service, diaper changing, maintaining daily logs, tracking attendance, engaging in play activities, assisting with nap times, and ensuring a safe learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing the daily curriculum that provides suitable developmental experiences for a group of children.
- Ensure the care and safety of assigned children.
- Build strong connections with children, families, and fellow staff members.
- Maintain a nurturing environment that supports children's growth and development while organizing activities to enhance program effectiveness.
- Engage in activities such as playing, painting, singing, dancing, guiding, nurturing, reading, and creating a joyful learning atmosphere.
- Support children in adapting to real-life situations and developing good habits in eating, dressing, napping, and personal hygiene.
- Observe and document the health and progress of children, reporting any concerns that may arise.

State Requirements:
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
- Meet necessary educational qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Child Development Associate (CDA), Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC), or other education-related credentials are advantageous.
