Lead Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division in Eastern North Carolina

We are seeking an experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to lead our division in eastern North Carolina. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and adolescents in need of mental health services.
The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to inspire and motivate a team of healthcare professionals. As the division head, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of our child and adolescent psychiatry program, including the development of clinical services, research initiatives, and education programs.
About the Role:
This is a full-time employment opportunity with a growing 9-hospital private not-for-profit healthcare system. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of administrative and leadership experience, as well as expertise in child and adolescent psychiatry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to further the School of Medicine mission
- Create and execute plans to optimize clinic services and achieve goals for patient access, patient volume, physician availability, productivity, and quality improvement
- Contribute to an environment that enhances professional development of division members
- Foster medical education and research in all clinical programs
