Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with their basic daily life activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Requirements
  • 6 months of recent hospital or long-term care facility experience as a CNA.
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program.
  • Nurse Assistant Certification (CT NA).
  • CPR certification (CT CPRBLS).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic procedures.
  • Ability to learn and utilize new computer programs for documentation.
