Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Systems Specialist to join our team at DAC, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive documentation to ensure contract commitments are met within established price and time limits.
  • Develop and maintain equipment, location, and identification schedules.
  • Create project documentation for submittals, subcontracting, installation, start-up, troubleshooting, operation, and training.
  • Offer expert technical support in solving engineering design, technical application, and installation problems through engineered solutions, product selection, and modifications.
  • Verify that installed projects meet specifications and sales documentation by conducting a final check with the Project Manager.
Technical Support:
  • Provide timely and cost-effective technical solutions for equipment applications as they arise.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Department and Project Manager during the estimating phase, maintaining an up-to-date accurate price reference for equipment used in projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics Engineering is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in HVAC controls system application engineering and field implementation is required.
  • Prior experience with DDC, PLC, relays, sensors, and ethernet devices is essential.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure and technology systems is necessary.
  • Ability to comprehend complex mathematical functions to compute discounts, ratios, quantities, and selection of various parts and assemblies is crucial.
  • Capacity to perform computational algorithms for control system functions and performance analysis is required.
Estimated Salary:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
