We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team at Tenet-AZ Region in Phoenix, Arizona.
Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per yearThis is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to specialize in cardiovascular services. About the RoleThe Outpatient Cardiovascular Technologist will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance during invasive and non-invasive procedures in our cardiac catheterization laboratory. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and other medical staff during procedures
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
- Communicate with patients and families
- Maintain accurate records and reports
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, as well as experience working with imaging equipment and patient care software. You should also possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and be comfortable with continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be considered for this position, you must have:
- A minimum of an associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current Arizona Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (MRTBE) license
- BLS certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- ARRT certification in cardiovascular-interventional technology (CI)
- ACLS certification
