Job Summary:

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit. Your expertise will be essential in assessing, treating, and monitoring ventilator cases, as well as performing patient assessments compliant with respiratory care standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat patients with respiratory conditions, including those requiring ventilatory support.
  • Perform pulmonary function studies and evaluate blood gas analysis.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education and training to new Respiratory Care Practitioners.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care standards and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification.
  • Minimum of an A.S. or A.A.S. degree in Respiratory Therapy.
  • At least one year of intensive and general care experience as a respiratory therapist.
