Overview
An exciting opportunity awaits for a full-time Pediatric Medicine Physician to become part of a prominent and well-established healthcare organization in Central Michigan. This role involves clinical responsibilities at two locations: Alma and Mount Pleasant, Michigan.
Our facilities, including MyMichigan Medical Center Mt. Pleasant and MyMichigan Medical Center Alma, provide comprehensive healthcare services, featuring a 24/7 full-service laboratory, advanced imaging services such as CT and X-Ray, an Emergency Department, and a wide array of specialty services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all facets of Pediatric Medicine, focusing on the physical, emotional, and social well-being of patients from infancy through adolescence. This includes preventive health services as well as the diagnosis and management of both acute and chronic illnesses.
- Participate in a call rotation of 1:3, supported by an after-hours nurse triage line.
- Conduct newborn rounds at MyMichigan Medical Center Alma.
Qualifications
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
- Possess an active State of Michigan medical license or be eligible to obtain one.
- Successful completion of an ACGME accredited residency program is required.
