Job Title: Heavy Equipment Transport Driver

Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. (TWE) is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Transport Driver to join our Geotechnical Field Services Division in Beaumont, Texas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting drilling and field exploration equipment to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport heavy equipment to and from job sites, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Conduct regular vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all TWE equipment, including loading and unloading procedures.
  • Monitor equipment performance to identify maintenance and repair needs, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Complete all required paperwork, including tool and supply inventory, vehicle and equipment inspections, and maintenance records.
  • Attend safety meetings and comply with both TWE and client safety standards and programs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment, including equipment and job site areas.
Requirements:
  • Able to read and write in English.
  • Able to pass a background check.
  • Able to pass an initial, random, and annual hair follicle drug test.
  • Hold a Class A Texas Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Able to physically implement any changes and conduct maintenance to equipment.
  • Willing to work diligently and take ownership over work, whether project is small or large.
  • Able to facilitate positive, professional customer relations.
  • Willing to learn, ask questions, and offer new ideas and suggestions.
