Job Summary

This role is responsible for the fabrication and assembly of radial spacers, bandaged spacers, and static rings, as well as the manufacture and fabrication of insulation parts from various materials. The ideal candidate will have experience working with woodworking machinery and be able to operate a variety of tools and equipment.


Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble radial spacers and bandaged spacers
• Manufacture and fabricate insulation parts from wood, pressboard, and other materials
• Operate woodworking machinery, including milling machines, punch presses, and radial spacer punches
• Assemble washer assemblies and common spacer rings
• Fabricate and assemble insulation yoke materials
• Perform minor repairs and machine maintenance
• Complete checklists and inspection forms and material inventory control sheets


Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with woodworking machinery and operating a variety of tools and equipment
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and occasionally sit, walk, climb, balance, push, pull, carry, work below waist level, and use feet
• Ability to work in a shop-floor environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards


Working Conditions

• Shop-floor located on a large manufacturing plant
