We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions and administer contrast materials as needed.
- Prepare and operate CT scan equipment to capture optimal images.
- Assist radiologists in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies, and providing patient care.
- Prepare examination rooms for CT scans and invasive procedures, and maintain room cleanliness and inventory of supplies.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- ARRT-CT certification preferred.
- CT experience preferred.
