Position Summary:

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for executing preventive maintenance, conducting repairs, and managing the installation and removal of equipment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical systems
  • Identify malfunctions through careful observation
  • Repair damaged or malfunctioning machine components
  • Execute emergency repairs as needed
  • Align and calibrate machinery
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Install and repair mechanical systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Install various fittings and components
  • Handle pipe work including cutting, grinding, and assembly
  • Assist with various maintenance tasks
  • Participate in fire watch and safety monitoring
  • Complete additional duties as assigned

Supervisory Role: None


Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in industrial maintenance or mechanical roles, or equivalent vocational training
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform diverse tasks
  • Strong multitasking skills and capability to work independently
  • Pass a post-offer pre-employment drug screening and background checks
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Willingness to travel to various job sites as required

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions
  • Potential for high noise levels
  • Possible exposure to fumes and airborne particles
  • May require work in confined spaces or at heights

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent use of construction equipment and tools
  • Must be clean-shaven to wear a respirator
  • Ability to climb, bend, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have good vision and color recognition

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel may be necessary (typically not overnight)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous military experience
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
