Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist

Location: Carolina Health Centers, Inc.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

The Clinical Nurse Specialist is responsible for providing high-quality patient care and management under the supervision of a nurse manager and/or clinical coordinator. This role requires active participation in the patient care team, conducting pre-visit planning, preparing patients for examination and treatment, and maintaining accurate patient documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Active patient care team member: identifying and reporting specific patient needs to the provider
  • Conducts pre-visit planning by reviewing and updating patient charts prior to appointment
  • Prepares patient for examination and treatment by escorting them from the waiting area to the exam room
  • Maintains patient documentation, including lab orders and results, procedure results, and phone calls
  • Assists team in care management as directed by the provider

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited program of practical nurse education
  • Licensed by South Carolina and in good standing as an LPN/RN
  • BCLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience preferred but will train new graduates
