Position Overview: Our client is in search of a skilled Backend Java Developer who excels in crafting user information solutions for intricate and large-scale applications by designing, executing, and sustaining Java-based components and interfaces.

Location Requirements: Local candidates are preferred, with a minimum of 3 days per week required in the office.

Assessment: Candidates will be required to complete Hackerank testing as part of the evaluation process.

Technical Expertise: The hiring manager is looking for candidates with substantial experience in AWS, with additional DevOps experience in AWS being advantageous.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Development roles.
  • At least 6 years of progressive experience in areas such as application delivery and back-end Java-based platform applications.
  • 4+ years of experience in the architecture and design of systems utilizing Microservices architecture.
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Chef.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, REST services, Spring, NoSQL technologies (MongoDB/Cassandra), Kafka/MQ/Rabbit, Splunk, Grafana/Kibana, Git, Jira, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills, along with hands-on experience in proof of concept within a fast-paced environment.
