Print Plate Technician

We are seeking a skilled Print Plate Technician to join our team at ProAmpac, a leading global flexible packaging company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for mounting polymer plates on printing cylinders with precise registration and alignment to ensure high-quality bag production.

Responsibilities:

• Selecting the right plate cylinders for each job and preparing them for mounting
• Setting up print cylinders in mounting machines and configuring plate layouts
• Maintaining plate inventory for repeat jobs and ensuring efficient workflow
• Dismounting and cleaning printing cylinders to maintain equipment integrity

Requirements:

• Lifting heavy objects using hoists safely, with a maximum weight capacity of 50 lbs.
• Maintaining attention to detail and adhering to specifications
• Reading and understanding written directions, as well as creating legible documentation
• Able to see colors accurately and possess good vision
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to draw accurate plate layouts and read measuring tools
• Adhering to company policies, safety regulations, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)

What We Offer

• A competitive salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
