Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues, providing preventative maintenance services, and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components
  • Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance services
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces
  • Interact with customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better
  • Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds, and work in various temperatures
  • Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies and procedures
  • Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
  • Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
