The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care and experience working with pediatric populations. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care, including administering treatments and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and clinical decision-making skills.
- Administer respiratory therapy procedures and modalities, including ventilator management and oxygen therapy.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
- Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license issued by the state in which you practice.
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) or neonatal ICU (NICU).
- Knowledge of pediatric-specific respiratory care protocols and guidelines.
