Job Summary

Rasmussen University is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty Member to teach in the Nursing program at our Eagan campus. As a key member of our faculty team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student learning, and contributing to the development of our nursing curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach nursing courses in a dynamic and active classroom environment
  • Develop and implement curriculum and assessment plans for nursing courses
  • Provide feedback and support to students through synchronous and asynchronous communication
  • Participate in faculty meetings and committee work as agreed upon by the Dean
  • Complete professional development requirements, including teaching development and development in discipline
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing
  • Active registered nurse license with no encumbrances
  • Active CPR certification administered by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
  • Ability to provide official transcripts for each degree earned from an accredited institution
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or better in Nursing
