Position Summary:
The Financial Leadership Analyst role is a pivotal position designed to cultivate the next generation of finance leaders within Avature. This full-time program offers a comprehensive two-year experience, featuring four distinct assignments, one of which will take place in a field location.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Financial Leadership Analyst, you will:
  • Collaborate with finance team members to create quarterly presentations and reports for senior leadership.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process, providing insights and tracking for various projects to inform operational and financial decisions.
  • Work alongside pricing and commercial finance teams to analyze the effects of pricing strategies and assumptions across the organization.
  • Conduct financial modeling and return analyses for strategic initiatives.
  • Evaluate performance metrics at various levels, offering insights on variances from budgets and forecasts.
  • Engage in month-end closing and financial reporting tasks, including participation in physical inventories and financial statement reviews.
  • Develop discounted cash flow analyses for capital investments and strategic projects.
  • Enhance reporting processes and databases to ensure consistency in financial practices.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and collaborate with finance teams to produce valuable insights for leadership.
  • Create monthly and quarterly financial performance bridges to articulate business results and improve methodologies.
  • Lead special projects and support key initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or mathematics.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.5 is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, along with strong financial modeling skills.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to changing environments, manage multiple priorities, and work collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and a commitment to team-building activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clear recommendations.
