Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project management leadership and oversight to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, including contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications, to ensure compliance with construction/project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and other project-related entities to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Represent Vanir Construction Management, Inc. in public forums and meetings, and provide project updates and status reports to stakeholders.
  • Manage project controls, cost, and performance activities and procedures, project logistics, organization, systems, and project closeout.
  • Lead project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses.
  • Coordinate, direct, and monitor activities of construction management staff, contractors, engineers, architects, and related performing entities.
  • Manage bid phase services, as may be required by the client.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager with Fire Station experience.
  • Knowledge and application of master planning, A/E solicitation, project development, design-phase management, construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation, engineering/construction principles, contracts, and delivery methods.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Community relations experience.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products, and experience with project-related systems such as Prolog and Primavera.
  • Proficiency with various document control systems, as well as new construction and modernization.
  • Registration as an Architect or Professional Engineer is preferred.
  • Certified Construction Manager preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

The offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The Salary range for this position is $140,000-$155,000.
