Laboratory Technician

Ash Grove Cement, a CRH company, is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing chemical and physical testing for the plant, maintaining inventories and equipment in the lab, and ensuring that products meet ASTM specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
- Conduct laboratory tests to ensure product quality and compliance with ASTM specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of physical tests performed and enter test data into reports.
- Perform equipment calibrations and maintain testing equipment.
- Assist other lab and production personnel as needed.
- High school graduation or equivalent required.
- Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, and signs.
- Willingness to learn and training will be provided.
- Minimum of 1 year experience performing relevant tests in a cement laboratory environment.
- Minimum of 6 months training with another certified physical tester.
- Proficient in English written and verbal communication skills.
