Position Summary:
CommonSpirit Health is currently seeking a full-time Clinic LPN to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic LPN to contribute to our clinic's success. This role involves working alongside a dedicated team that is passionate about patient care and teamwork. Enjoy competitive compensation and a favorable work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for appointments by obtaining and documenting vital signs and relevant medical history, ensuring patient comfort and privacy.
- Assist with patient care, diagnostic tests, and clinical procedures within the scope of LPN licensure and established protocols.
- Support point-of-care testing and laboratory procedures as per established guidelines.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers, maintaining accurate records of medication usage.
- Document all patient interactions and procedures in accordance with established protocols, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, including restocking supplies and sterilizing instruments.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and competence in communication with diverse patient populations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the clinic's operations.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program recognized by the state nursing board.
- Preferred: One year of experience as an LPN in a clinical setting or two years in an acute care environment.
Licensure and Certification:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
