Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Claims Examiner to join their team. As a Cyber Claims Examiner, you will be responsible for managing and resolving cyber claims, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to risk management strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of cyber claims from notification to resolution, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Conduct thorough investigations into cyber claims, gathering necessary information, and assessing the validity and value of the claims.
Negotiate settlements within delegated authority levels and ensure prompt and fair claim resolution.
Maintain accurate records of claims and policies.
Collaborate with legal counsel, IT experts, and other professionals to manage claims effectively.
Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, and maintaining positive relationships with policyholders, brokers, and other stakeholders.
Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management strategies to minimize the frequency and severity of claims.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in cyber risk and insurance, and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements
The successful candidate for the Cyber Claims Examiner position will have:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber claims, insurance, insurance claims, claims handling, risk management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a claims adjuster or in claims adjustment.
Strong investigative skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on the information available.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
A good understanding of cyber risks and the associated insurance products.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes effectively.
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage a large portfolio of claims and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in relevant computer applications, including claims management systems.
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field is preferred.
Professional certifications in Claims or Risk Management would be an asset.
