This is a contract position with great opportunities for growth and professional development. As a Retail Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Dispensing prescription medications and providing patients with accurate information about their treatment plans
• Counseling patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and storage instructions
• Managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
• Performing administrative tasks, such as processing prescriptions and handling customer payments
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting any issues or concerns to management
• Providing excellent customer service and promoting a positive patient experience

Requirements

• Degree in Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution
• Prior experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• Certification in immunization delivery and knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Familiarity with pharmacy management software and strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced work environment

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is between $64-$67 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
