Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team as a Flow Cytometry Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory research and experience with flow cytometry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Principal Investigator to design and execute research experiments using flow cytometry.
  • Troubleshoot assays and customize experimental tools to optimize results.
  • Coordinate external and internal resources necessary for completion of research plan.
  • Generate clear and complete records of experimental work, including data analysis and interpretation.
  • Participate in publication of research results and present findings at conferences.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in biology, chemistry, or equivalent scientific discipline.
  • 1-3 years relevant laboratory experience, preferably in flow cytometry.
  • Strong knowledge of theoretical basis of flow cytometry and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Proficient in research laboratory techniques, including flow cytometry software and equipment.
  • Excellent detail orientation, analytical ability, and communication skills.

Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
