In this role, you will collaborate closely with program managers, contracts, estimating, supply chain, engineering, and clients to advance project objectives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to determine requirements and formulate support plans.
  • Monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance utilizing Boeing's Program Management Best Practices and Earned Value Management.
  • Assist in the preparation of customer proposals, including competitive pricing and timelines.
  • Regularly interact with supply chain leadership to ensure supplier quality and performance.
  • Address technical challenges through collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Oversee deliverables by creating plans for risk management, issues, and opportunities, while assessing project performance.
  • Provide updates to clients and leadership regarding program status, risks, and areas needing assistance.
  • Standardize and document processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Offer additional support as necessary, including expertise in Correction Action Requests and process improvements.
  • Prioritize product development and manage the product feature backlog.
  • Develop comprehensive product feature specifications and ensure clarity among relevant teams.
  • Evaluate value, create cases, and prioritize work to align with product strategy.
  • Identify and mitigate obstacles to achieving project goals.
  • Act as a product ambassador, sharing knowledge and addressing inquiries.

Travel may be required up to 10% of the time, based on business needs.

All work is conducted onsite to comply with security protocols. Candidates must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, requiring U.S. Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of involvement in engineering design projects.
  • 5+ years of experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering project teams.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in leading multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
  • Project Management Professional Certification.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Experience in proposal development and contract negotiations.
  • In-depth understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Export Compliance or international projects.
  • Proficient in developing and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Experience in production and product development environments.
  • Experience working with government or military clients.
  • Defense industry experience.
  • Experience as a Control Account Manager.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in project planning or management.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting weapons systems.
  • 5+ years of experience collaborating across functions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
