Job Title: Bartender

At ASM Global, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and service individual beverage locations, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Enforce all liquor laws and regulations, maintaining a safe and responsible environment.
• Verify and account for all liquor inventory, ensuring accurate records and minimizing waste.
• Maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness of the work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Follow proper safety practices and procedures, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Report to F&B Personnel in the assigned location, adhering to uniform and grooming standards.
• Prepare all beverage items for sale, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Sell beverages to customers, charging the correct amount according to the ASM Global price list.
• Receive and handle cash and/or tickets, accurately verifying transactions.
• Accurately verify cash and liquor inventory with supervisors, ensuring accuracy and minimizing discrepancies.
• Verify that the cash register is programmed correctly, adhering to ASM Global-approved sales prices.
• Follow Bar Procedures, as described in the provided documentation.
• Adhere to all rules and regulations applicable to beverage operations and the ASM Global Food and Beverage Division.
• Request identification for every guest purchasing alcohol, ensuring responsible service.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Food Service Manager.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.

Qualifications:

• Must have basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures.
• Must have sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money.
• Must have basic working knowledge of bar operation.
• Must have ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work.
• Must have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance.

Skills and Abilities:

• Must have ability to take directions and effectively perform the work.

• Must have basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures.
• Must speak and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors, and employees.

• Must speak and understand English well enough to read and understand safety policies and procedures, converse with customers, supervisors, and employees.
• Positive, customer service-oriented attitude at all times.
• Strong knowledge of sanitary practices.
• Maintains proper grooming and dress code standards.
• Work ethic encourages strong urgency and quality in a team environment.
• Ability to work with other staff members in the facility.
• Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Must be TIPS or LEAD Certified.
