This position focuses on evaluating the performance and trends of the energy markets in New York State, pinpointing opportunities for enhancement, and offering assistance to various departments within NYISO.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gain expertise in pertinent NYISO Markets
  • Examine intricate data and generator systems
  • Prepare analytical reports and participate in teleconferences
  • Oversee compliance initiatives and generate market studies
  • Employ simulation and statistical analysis methodologies
  • Effectively convey findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline; Master's Degree is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in the industry
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and market optimization tools
  • Understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning is advantageous
Additional Requirements:
  • Capability to analyze and present information clearly
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and market analysis tools
  • Physical ability to perform office-related tasks
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and work non-traditional hours
