Overview

Job Summary

The LCSW will provide ongoing assessment and formulation of patient needs, developing comprehensive treatment plans that meet clinical and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with family members, significant others, and community agencies.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary liaison services for patients and their families, ensuring timely and comprehensive discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with the Utilization Manager to manage patient care in a clinically and fiscally sound manner.
  • Ensure timely completion of all documentation and required paperwork, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Requirements
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience in child psychiatry or a related field.
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills, with the ability to develop effective therapeutic relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and computerized clinical databases.
