Contingency Security Specialist

Securitas Security Services is seeking part-time/per diem security professionals in the West Greenwich area to fill the role of Contingency Officers.

This role involves providing coverage for expected/planned schedule gaps and last-minute emergency coverage. Contingency officers will receive hourly pay in line with their current role and will have a flexible schedule to cover various site needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide coverage for expected/planned schedule gaps and last-minute emergency coverage.
• Access control, computer, and phone use.
• Alarm response and ability to fulfill post orders regarding dispatch and escalation.
• May require foot patrol (30-45 minutes) and vehicle patrol.
• Vigilant observation of surroundings.
• Customer service.
• Computer skills, intermediate.
• Upholding client expectations on site.
• Writing incident reports and daily activity reports.

Requirements:

• Security experience required: 1 year.
• Customer service experience: 1-2 years.
• CPR, First Aid, AED training.
• High school diploma, GED, equivalent or above.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Benefits:

• Pay: $20.25 minimum.
• Shift/Day/Hours may vary based on business needs.
