Process Operations Specialist

The Process Operations Specialist is a key member of the Fulfillment Center team, reporting directly to the Area Manager. This role is responsible for supporting daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and contributing to the overall success of the department.
Key Responsibilities:- Support daily management of department duties, including labor allocation, meeting facilitation, and communication with internal and external suppliers.
- Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers and assist with policy follow-up, attendance tracking, and ATS/labor hour reporting.
- Assist the floor as an associate resource, training associates, and verifying SOP compliance.
- Ensure successful area performance through tracking, reporting, and feedback of associate performance.
- Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives and fill in as needed with production duties.
- Review and update SOP as required and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Identify and address safety hazards and coach associates to work safely at all times.
- Participate in safety initiatives and refer all job injuries immediately to the Area Manager.
- Associates must be in good standing and able to work overtime as required.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, shifts, and areas, and continued meeting or exceeding of department performance goals.
- Education beyond High School and/or prior experience managing employees.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated communication skills with all levels of Amazon associates and management.
- Experience with an FC kaizen or Shingi event and an awareness of OE tools and techniques.
- Leadership ability and respect from associates in the production area.
