About the Role

Troon International is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cook/Cashier to join our team at Lagoon Park Golf Course. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food production and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Learns and maintains standards in food production and quality.
  2. Expedites orders in a timely manner.
  3. Practices excellent operational sanitation.
  4. Executes scheduled banquet functions.
  5. Maintains a professional relationship with fellow associates.
  6. Helps reduce loss/waste.
  7. Communicates equipment repair needs with chef.
  8. Actively participates in training efforts.
  9. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  10. Attends staff meetings.
  11. Checks and dates all deliveries received and reports any variances to chef in charge.
  12. Verifies that all coolers are at the proper temperatures and are cleaned on a daily basis.
  13. Processes inventory requisition and receives supplies as necessary for quality production.
  14. Prepares the proper amount of food according to production or forecast sheets and production plans.
  15. Prepares items in accordance with established recipes for a consistent product.

Requirements

  • Associates Culinary Degree and 2 years of Culinary Experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Serv Safe Certified preferred.
