Nurse Specialist

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to provide high-quality care in the Emergency Department. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, requiring a 10-hour shift, days. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
About the RoleThe Emergency Department at Mass General Brigham is a 21-bed unit that provides compassionate and personalized care to patients of all ages. Our team of board-certified emergency physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and unit service techs work together to provide the best possible treatment. We have a strong focus on patient safety and quality care, and we are committed to reducing unnecessary wait times.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for assessing patients, developing care plans, and providing education to patients and families. They will also be expected to work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless care.
Requirements- BSN
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse License
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
- ED experience strongly preferred
- 1+ years acute experience required
