About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our team at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - St. Louis. As a member of our Psych Social Services department, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, emotional, behavioral, addictive, and developmental disorders and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide psychotherapy, group, and family therapy as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment goals and participate in patient care conferences.
  • Document patient information and complete necessary reporting in accordance with departmental standards and regulations.
  • Provide direct clinical supervision to interns and assigned staff.
  • Perform discharge planning and work in a safe and alert manner.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work.
  • No experience required.
Physical Demands
  • Constant use of hearing and vision.
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, twisting, and walking.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, sitting, squatting, reaching, gripping, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
Work Environment
